As old as I am, I always see one of these and have to pick it and blow it into the wind. A vestige of childhood that never grows old. Do you ever still want to pick dandelions and blow them into the wind as well?
Yes I do! I love blowing dandelions into the wind and wishing upon it. There are some things from childhood that should be given up but not that :) Have a wonderful day
omg, I do! Maybe if it was my own yard I might think twice about it, I make a wish too, and blow really hard so all the seeds fly away, and watch the wind carry them away.
I still blow dandelions into the wind sometimes. It's one of those childhood things that never really go away. The idea that you can make a wish and it come true is something that we never grow out of. I think eventually you come to terms with the fact that wishes are just that and probably won't ever come true, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't at least try to wish :)
Oh...thank you so much for this picture Andrew!! I love dandelions and I always wish. I think it's important to be able to hold on to some kind of hope, and if i find that in a dandelion who could fault me?
I love Weeds.... especiallly these.My daughter picks alll the weeds out of my yard and brings them in for me like tresures. And they are treasures to me now.
