I was reclined in my recliner reading a book when I heard Maggie come inside through the dog door. Something was wiggling in her mouth when I suddenly realized she had caught a snake in the backyard. Luckily, Maggie had chewed the head off or the business end of the snake. Outdoors, went the rest of it.

ReplyDeleteBetter her wrangling with that snake than you! My daughters 15 month old Rhodesian ridgeback found a dead garter snake while we were out walking along the local creek and she would not let me get close. She knew I would take it! Finally, she dropped it and I had to take it home to show my daughter what her cute dog had found.
