You Know What Makes Me Happy?

I've watched Star Wars: The Force Awakens about 5 times now. I am so proud of Carrie Fisher and the role she played in the film. She has turned out to be a beautiful older woman. She's struggled with addiction and weight gain for years and years like me, and I was glad she could pull it all together and participate in this latest film.

James Horner was one of my favorite film score composers.  Here is a sampling of some of the scores he wrote since the eighties.  I still can’t believe he’s dead.  He died in a plane crash last week near Santa Barbara.   My favorite composition from him has to be The Princess Pleads for Wallace’s Life off the Braveheart soundtrack.  It is just a beautiful piece of work.
