We used to have 3 gigantic pecan trees in our backyard. (At a previous house.) Maybe would eat pounds and pounds of them off the ground and then be all full and bloated for about a week...What kind of berries are those? They look delicious!!
indulge us, and take a full picture of the Pecan tree. Like the other Northerners I have never seen a pecan tree, nor ate them from the ground. All I can say is that I have an apple tree, and eat them from the ground if I can beat the bugs! :-)

I think the pecan tree is fascinating. I have never seen one. You are going to have some serious pecans this year.
