I walked two miles this morning. That was a true milestone. I worried about Maggie, though. Her short, little legs really have to work to keep up with me. So far, she is loving it.
My air conditioning has decided to quit. Actually, it just never came back on after our winter. I have all my windows open in my house on this 82 degree day. My thermometer says 83 degrees inside. I love the heat which is a good thing so I am not uncomfortable.
After my walk this morning, I decided to drive over to Fat Albert's for my morning cup of coffee. It has been awhile since I went and I was surprised to still see George employed.
"Coffees on the house," George exclaimed after questioning me about where I've been.
I insisted on paying for my cup which was only 99 cents. George looked perturbed. I wanted to tell him that giving me free coffee could get him fired. George can act like a little kid in fairy land sometimes. Aloof.
I go to my psychiatrist tomorrow. I am continuing the discussion about my anxiety attacks. I am determined to get these damn things out of my life.
I hope you all are having a good week and thanks for reading.

I am always amazed at how well my sweet pup keeps up with me on walks. We did about 5 miles this morning and she would love to go another 5 right now. have a good week!
that warm weather sounds heavenly! Glad to see you're keeping up with the walks. Remember to take some water for both you and Maggie!
Wow. 83 there already! Can't wait for those days again.
I hope you can say good bye to your anxiety attacks soon.
Take care, Andrew.
I can't wait for hot weather. It's going to take some time for it to be here to stay. Sunday was in the 70's here and that felt heavenly. I want it back.
I'm glad you're sticking it out with the anxiety attacks. You'll be the winner. I was. You'll learn how to avoid the triggers and how to be strong. You are strong, you know. Look at your sobriety count. Amazing!
82 outside and a lovely walk with Maggie..can it get any better?
:)
Have you asked the psychiatrist about your cichadas (I can't spell it, but you know what I mean) chirping? Might be something good to mention . . . end of lecture!
So glad Maggie's getting out and about! I know the ratters just love to go for their walks. Even just a short walk to the corner and back is an "event" for them! Does she love to go in the car, too? Our pups can hear the word 'ride' and they start barking and challenging each other to see who can get to the car first!!
Have a happy Wednesday :-)

I'm glad I popped in...Its good to hear someone talk about seeing a counselor or doctor about issues..I think I need to see a specialist....I have a stupid tendency to run into a foot or fist lately.
Oh,and I STARTED out walking a bit each evening after work...that is,until my legs got sore as heck.lol
I can't get past that burning sensation.UuGH! I know...wuss,huh?
I think maybe going to your psychiatrist is a good thing. The anxiety could just be caused by the lack of control you feel sometimes in your own life. Really though, we only think we control our lives. Life to me seems like a huge roller coaster ride. You can't get off so you just hang on and hope for the best.
Good for you!! Two miles is great!
My morning walk puts me in a good mood for the whole day. :-)
WOW! I AM SO PROUD OF YOU FOR WALKING.
Ha...kind of sounds like I am congratulating on your very first steps! But, it is hard to bump up the activity level so this is an accomplishment. Just keep on keeping on. Now that spring is coming, walking will be an extra treat with all of the flowers and birds to watch.
