I certainly could go to bed right now, but I have two more hours to wait until my father, or the cavalry gets here. I also don't want to mess up this delicate balance with me sleeping nights again. No engrossing video games after nine my son. Let's wish for the best and hope he arrives early tonight.

The Dog Days of Maggie...
They call them the dog days of summer because Sirius, the dog star, and brightest star rises above the horizon. Maggie's dog days of spring are spent in the bed while I feel envious of her existence. She doesn't have a care in the world other than when Papa arrives and she won't worry about that until the sun has set awhile and I ask her where Papa is.
I certainly could go to bed right now, but I have two more hours to wait until my father, or the cavalry gets here. I also don't want to mess up this delicate balance with me sleeping nights again. No engrossing video games after nine my son. Let's wish for the best and hope he arrives early tonight.
