I'm hanging up my hat. I really have blathered too much on this blog. It is like quenching a thirst -- I come back everyday to expunge my life for the whole world to see.
I've been writing blogs since 2001 when I found "the homeless guy" blog and I was homeless too. My first blog was "Homeless and Disabled in Alabama". I feel this need to just shut-up, be quiet for a change, and go about my way. I've said my fill and I have surely made some social gaffes in my time. Now, it is your turn to shine. Start a blog and share it with us in the comments on this post and we will read along with you. You can be my legacy!

Sir:
Why would you decide to leave? That would make many of us (including yourself) feel quite sad. I ask you to reconsider.

Pipe,
I am just worried I say and reveal too much and it could come back to haunt me.
Andrew
I will tell you if I think you have crossed a line that could come back to haunt you. I would miss you terribly. But you must do what you feel is good for you. I hope you don't stop.
I feel like you are a cherished friend and there are times I wish I could hug you in person, go to lunch and cook something yummy for ya.
Wow! I am kind of shocked! You have to do what you want and need to, but you just recently wrote about the blog being therapeutic for you. Someone else whose blog I've been reading recently did the same thing. They have kept their blog, but are just not posting anymore. If they want to or need to, they can post. I know that a blog can feel like another obligation. I wish you the best, and hopefully, we will still see you on facebook.
In the past, you have written some things that could be an issue, if some troll should decide to make it one for their own entertainment. But as of late, I don't see TMI in your writings. I stopped blogging as I lost my muse, but have been considering starting to write again. Like you said, it's therapeutic.
If I may be so bold to tell it to you straight:
This has become a pattern of yours. Every few 6 months or so you announce you are ceasing your blog. You get lots of comments/attention from people, and then you don't.
As probably the only person you know (even if through the internet) and who cares about you, I encourage you to examine what this pattern indicates?
I can understand wanting to stop blogging. I’ve been threatening to quit for 3 years. I’m a mod on a tumblr blog (Israeli politics) with 9 thousand followers. My personal blog and my blogger blog with Trevor which you follow on Google+ (thank you Andrew) and I’m spent! It’s time consuming and after working 10 hours a day I find less and less time to blog. Why not take a break and see how if feels? Or blog less? of take weekends off.
Whatever works for you Andrew. I do hope to see you over on our blog once in a while just so we know you’re okay. Whatever you decide G-d bless you. Take good care of you.
Christina:
I have known and am a good friend of Andrew's for over twelve years now. Yes it is an internet friendship, but it is real.
