If God talks to you, you have schizophrenia.--Thomas S. Szasz, The Second Sin,

I am getting a ton of anonymous comment spam in the archives. I get an email every time somebody comments and I keep hearing “You’ve got Ma...

ha ha ha! Too funny! Too funny! Loved it..thanks for sharing. I think god has talked to me a few times, though. Am I crazy?
I love that, but I guess I'm schizophrenic :) Better than sane, I suppose.
NOT TRUE. I do not have schizophrenia, but God certainly talks to me. He will speak to you, if you will only allow Him to do so.
I had to smile at this, Andrew! I think instead it should read... if God talks to you, you are blessed! :-)
well that's just not fair is it?
ya know what andrew? i'm noticing something here... i think you identify who yOU are.. way too much with your diagnoses.
i see way too much... schizophrenic, alcoholic, mentally ill, etc.
would you do a post as a request type thing? just a blurb even if it becomes difficult... because i know that sometimes, it can be.
but would you post something about
WHO Andrew IS... not what his diagnoses are. BUT who the man is.
i know all about panic attacks, meds, isolation, and almost everything else you talk about here... if i haven't lived it, i watched my brother live it, or my mom, or someone else who i loved.
and if i didn't live it, or see it... i read it .. trying to make sense of it in my world.
so... just to let ya know.. the "my brotha" thing... i am sincere with that. i have read a lot of your stuff here. you really remind me a lot of my own brother. his struggles. his dreams, his "i will never have that's" ...
you remind me of him... and in a lot of ways you remind me of me too. a much more candid me. which is good .
your honesty can take you places you never dreamed of. and bring people into your life that you never thought you would be a part of. you are an amazing guy Andrew... you're not a diagnosis... or a prescription bottle.
let me see a bit of who lives behind the doctor lingo?
hope you have a good night, and sleep well tonight.
Hi Andrew...I agree whith Josie...and I think God is busy working hard on you....He truly wants to help you, and I know you want it too, desperately...keep smiling! :)
Okay, SOUL!!! YOU rocked with that comment.....aren't we grateful to have stumbled across the 4th ave blues blvd? I'm so glad I've "found" you guys...:)
Always,
Crusty~
He does listen to you-while he carries you along at your trying times...(and this is coming from a christian woman that married a jewish man) :)
Andrew, if you block anonymous comments you will put an end to this kind of spam! Anyone with anything worth saying, will gladly put their name to it.
Wow, SoulSis! You blew me away again, I love what you said to Andrew - in some ways very true. We are not only our diagnoses, indeed we are so much more! What attracts us to you Andrew is your mind, your wit, your seeker soul, your delightful personality, your introspection, and your wonderful gift for painting pictures (and making us hungry) with your words!

I think most of us that have made comments here KNOW Allah is DEAD. The God that speaks to you, I'm referring to is the true, living God that created the universe. Unfortunately, the person that left that long ranting has been badly deceived by a counterfeit for the loving, living God. I don't think it is approrpriate to leave my name since I do have a blog and do not want someone like this to follow me to my blog leaving demented rantings. Great request by Soul.
Holy cow!
I think you need to take Josie's advice:)
Don't ya just love Soul????
