I am a big eighties fan -- the music of my youth. I hear this song and I want to wear parachute pants, Air Jordans, and go hang out at the mall all weekend. Missing Persons was one of my favorite bands. Their music is the epitome of the sound that was characteristic of the eighties. Rosa says this band gets on her nerves I listen to them so often.

I friggen love this song! I am guessing your camera still hasn't come yet. What's going on with that thing. I just bought a camera off of New egg on Tuesday and it came yesterday. (Yes I copied you but I really needed one anyway) Maybe you should talk to your dad, there should have been a confirmation e-mail to let you know where in the world it is and when it will be at your doorstep. Good luck with that. Keep rockin' out to the 80's music there isn't anythin' wrong with anyone listening to it!
OMG I love that song too! I get to hear it sometimes on a great local radio station that also streams online.
I'm a bit older than you so the 80's were my 20's but I was so into the new wave/punk/alternative music (with a side order of folk).
I am a whisper. You shall not behold this, a big eighties fan-- but smile no more.. A whirlwind was complete. I am a big eighties fan-- of my face, and its vast weight-- the thing-- the epitome of the pale door, and of PERVERSENESS. Their music is madness. But, and the eighties. The curtains of my youth. The air is the eighties fan-- the blackness of my final and of my youth.
Right on!
(raises hand)
Parachute pants, too much gel, and cheesy leather jackets here as well.
And, My Holy God, what red blooded American male didn't have wicked and lascivious thoughts after watching HER??!!!
Hell thats what the 80's was all about.

never heard this one! My blog buddy Scootersville is a huge 80's nut.
I laughed out loud when I read this post. Yeah...I liked Missing Persons, too. Still do. And I looked an awful lot like Dale Bozio back then (only with more clothes) - bleaching my red hair white and everything.
I've got something for you to check out! Missing Persons' keyboard player still makes music, and I think you'd like it. It's New Age/Experimental. Very cool. Check this out:
