What do you do when your favorite blog on homelessness gets hijacked by the author's brash opinions on partisan politics? I wrote a kind request to the author hoping he would move such material to a separate blog. The sad thing is that he usually does the opposite of what people ask him to do.
I try not to write about politics and religion. They are just too polarizing. I once made some snide remarks about conservative talk radio hosts and how stupid they are. I ran off several valued readers doing so. It seems the country is neatly divided into two camps: democrat and republican. I call myself a moderate that falls in the middle of the spectrum of the two partisan groups.

Dad left mom forty dollars for us to eat on tonight. Mom and I both agreed that a fried catfish plate from Rodger's Barbecue would be delicious. We weren't disappointed. Mom stayed for several hours as we watched old episodes of Forensic Files.
Dad also left my medications with mom for her to give them to me. That was a shocking first. It was nice not having to wait until bedtime to take my medications.

Dealing with a lot of schizophrenia related paranoia today. I am scared to look at my comments for fear of being berated. I got it into my head earlier today that Social Security was reading my blog and I almost deleted it. I came so very close.

Trust me, SS doesn't have the time or concern to read your blog. If they did there are many more people they could go after.
I am like you on politics. Kind of middle of the road. I consider myself a conservative Democrat or an un-conservative Republican. I am so sick of politics at this point. Who do you choose when there is no one to choose?
Do you regularly back up your blog?
It may be a good idea to do so because if your paranoia means you delete it then once the paranoia recedes you would be able to put it back on.
I think your blog helps not just you but many others too, I know it helps me get through some days. I would hate for this blog to vanish.

It's sad that so many people take so many other peoples beliefs so personal--so they turn their back on others because a thought or two or three are different? Shameful.

I respect your thoughts, words and beliefs no matter how parrallel they are to mine, or if they're not..beliefs (my thoughts) are something that we have based on the following:
A) how we were raised.
B) what we want now, and tomorrow
C what is going in our life TODAY
They can change so for those that run off--again, douche nozzles. :)
Be snide, be you, but please please please don't delete...(unless you want to for you--but don't do it because of the other % of folks-they don't deserve the pleasure of it)

I am so glad that you did not delete your blog. I would really miss it and miss how you are doing. I know that it helps me and encouages me when I know someone who struggles with some of the things that I sturggle with. I an happy for you that you were able to go out to eat with your mom. Mom and I are going out to eat and I think that we are going to eat fish someplace.
It is good I thought that your dad trusted not only with you getting the pills from your mom earlier in the day but also trusted your mom to give them to you.
