gratefully I've only experienced this once here in S.E. MI and it was awful! So far we've been mostly in the 30s and 40s - very mild. A friend of mine in CO is dealing with tons of snow, but at least that can be moved! Ice is a little more difficult! Thanks for the link; I've shared with others.

That is one brutal storm. Those poor people. It looks like it will take forever to get power back and life back to normal.
I looked at the pictures thinking how pretty it looked and then shivered, its a nice and warm 30ish degrees about here.
