Joyce just gave me the biggest hug. Y'all, it was so heartwarming. She got to crying and then I got to crying. You just don't know how lonely having a mental illness can be when you aren't feeling well. Joyce and I are two peas in a pod. It is amazing she just had to live next to the house I moved into.

Hello Andrew,
I've been following your blog for a few months now and I wanted to thank you for letting me quietly read into your personal life. I am the mother of a daughter with mental illness (schizophrenia and depression)diagnosed when she was 16 and at 23 is currently housed in an enclosed facility. She is a bright, beautiful woman and loves to write, poems and many times tragic thoughts that roam her mind and loves to draw. I visit her often and call her numerous times during the week and miss my little girl very much. I am there for her to support and love her unconditionally. You are a wonderful writer, Andrew. Thank you again for your insight.
