Does your dad pan fry his pork chops? I haven't had pork chops for a long time. They have smoked pork chops that taste like ham. Your dad would like that.

We call those smoked pork chops Smithfield pork chops. Glittermom, he usually bakes them most of the time, but we always prefer them fried. He has a crock pot recipe he made earlier in the week where he cooked in his slow cooker. It is Campbell's chicken and rice soup and pork chops which he cooks for hours. The pork chops fall off the bone they are so tender.

I do the porkchops in soup too but I use cream of celery. Over mashed potatoes the gravy is so good and the meat just melts in your mouth.
