Here is the skinny of it...
Dad wants me to sell my car to him for $20 and then he is going to give it to mom's best friend who continually has car problems. (He hasn't been too worried about Sandra as my acquisition of mom's car has been going on for most of a year. She's probably got a newer car by now.) Of course, I have different ideas. The selling of this car is the only chance I have of upgrading my computer for the foreseeable future. Mr. Money Banks is not going to pay for it. I have to be firm with my resolve about this little situation and hold fast to my desires to sell the car. It is never, never easy with my father, is it? Can we do it my way once?
