I can't believe people have to pay for medication anywhere in the western world, the idea seems totally foreign to me in the UK. I love your writing, I've been a lurker for sometime now. Bob http://bonkersbob.wordpress.com
I seem to remember that many of Lucy's "customers" left feeling even more confused than before. I have gone to psychologists before and often I leave feeling more confused....hmmm....something to think about.
I hope you're feeling better and your paranoia is gone. I cannot imagine what it's like because I've never had any symptom close to that with my depression.
I agree with another commenter, that having Rosa not respond in a negative way probably helped you... even if you weren't aware. The last thing you needed was a negative response which may have aggravated your symptoms.
When you're feeling better, it might be a good idea to talk to her about what she can/can't and should/shouldn't do when you're having an 'episode'. I can only imagine the helplessness one would feel seeing someone they love suffer and in misery. I've begun letting my boyfriend know when I am going through my own little episodes. Thankfully mine aren't nearly as bad as they were years ago, but I still need non judgemental support and understanding just as much now as I did back then.
I got a new laptop for my birthday and I was roaming thru the blogs and yours just happened to pop up as a random. Weird huh? I haven't been keeping up with you life with the ferver I once did. I'm sorry for that because I am surely lost in your new goings on. I guess I'll just have to jump in and see if I can decifer, like a soap opera I've not watched in years...
When I saw the cartoon it made me think of the Peanuts Teacher..the woman that you never saw, but only heard..and even her voice was inaudible.."WaaahhwAHHHHHHHHHwahwahhhhhhhhhhhh.." Great chuckle! Always, Crusty~

You know, I trust "psychs" about as much as I trust those people on tv that say they can talk to the dead. If $ is involved, red flag to me!
