A Mist in the Trees...

Fog was rolling in off the Chattahoochee this morning as Maggie and I ambled about the backyard. The mist collected on the lens of my camera causing an interesting effect upon the picture if you click on the above image and zoom in.

Peeking through the fog that was soon to burn off.

The fog allowed me to capture the sun in all its full glory in a way that would be impossible on a clear morning.

I like your photographs. I myself like taking pictures as well, although I don't have a professional camera, but I hope I will one day.

Keep taking pictures. Beauty is bound to apear when we are not looking.. so we must take pictures of it.

Lovely photos! The first one, when enlarged, reminds me of peering thru a window on a damp day. :-) The one of the sun is way cool!

Andrew,
I love your pictures! They really brighten my day! Today, I especially like the one of the trees in the mist. It brought me back to childhood-curling up on a rainy day with a good book. :)

I really like the effect the moisture on the lens made! It reminds me of an artist friend who was trying to capture a shore scene and was having a hard time getting it just right. He was sitting there for hours and the weather was deteriorating. Finally a gust of wind and a huge breaker sprayed seawater all over his painting. All of a sudden it was just PERFECT! Maybe the best painting he ever did!

Beauty is everywhere if you just look and you definitely captured it this morning through your camera lens.

Great photos!

Oh my god!!! What a professional you are. These are very impressive. I agree with "soul" about the calendar. You should really think about doing something like that. Maybe you should enquire about with your local schools if they are interested in having students photo's taken. (do they do that in the States? They do in Australia). Your subjects are a little different but could be a way of making a little cash on the side. Regardless, keep taking these fantastic pics. There awesome.
