It is a busy weather night in the South and it is keeping me busy on my weather blog. I won't be able to go to bed until the storms pass after midnight. Come on over and drop a comment or two. You may get to find out what the weather is doing in your neck of the woods. You will also read about people getting struck by lightning and inch diameter hailstones.

We're getting gusts of between 70 and 90 miles an hour here in central Scotland. It's not the strongest wind I've experienced, that was on the north coast of Scotland where we once got 120 mile hour gusts. V. scary. Hope your storm passes and leaves everything relatively unscathed!
Lives Less Ordinary
Hi Andrew! I popped in and was having a few minutes to catch-up with all the good writing on your blog! I will come back though to finish, just wanna say...HAPPY NEW YEAR!! enjoy your day!
My congratulations to the big 50!
Be proud!
Yeah to 50! Missing you in chicago, but understanding how busy you are!
THe weather here has been like a woman with pms-ever changing! First the snow melted. 60temps were reached. rain slightly with the spring scents hidden beneath it to tease us midwest folks to hurry up and take down our Xmas lights..than the dark clouds, intense storms, sirens for tornado's...rain,..and hump day is returning temps to jan's normal.
sigh..is it wrong for me to want spring in january??
Always,
Crusty~
Look at you--50 days sober!!!! Yeah, we got rain over here in GA!
We have snow going sideways and very strong winds. This is northern Ontario.
You would have loved where I used to work - the NOAA Central Library. We had other stuff besides meteorologicla materials, but it was very cool.
Congrats on the big 5-0!
