I know many of you use Firefox and that the blog has been about impossible to read with the opacity and all. Well, I finally got it fixed when I realized what was wrong. I had to add separate opacity settings for Firefox. I wish these browsers would be standardized!

Hmmm, I use Firefox and I never had a problem viewing your blog. It looks great to me!
It must be a guy thing. "Browsers." "Opacity." The way some people---men, mostly---just make friends with any new technology that comes along just amazes this old hen. My 7-year-old grandson already says things like, "All you have to do, Grandma, is---"
Cheryl,
Hmmm, that's strange. I normally use Internet Explorer, but opened up Firefox on a whim this morning and the polka dots were showing through my text making it hard to read. I changed the opacity and all is well now. Ah, computers and software! You love 'em and you hate 'em at the same time!
forsythia,
You made me laugh. It is rather simple (don't hit me! lol). I imagine children these days are so computer literate it's amazing. I didn't learn how to use a computer until I was in my late twenties!
Firefox user too, and no problems.
10 years ago when I was in my 40's I took a new job. At that time, I was one of the most computer literate people at the workplace. I had learned lots from my kids about computers.
Today we have two IT staff whom we all depend on so much. Their knowledge is light years ahead of mine and all of the staff.
I am an old hen as well, and I am sure proud of anything I can make my computer do for me!
WISHING YOU A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010! WITH LOTS OF HAPPINESS,GOOD HEALTH AND GOD'S BLESSINGS!

I use firefox as well. I noticed the opacity but it didn't after the readability for me :)
