Morning's First Light

The morning's fog quickly burned off and revealed a landscape of dew and moisture.  I grabbed my trusty Canon and headed out the door this morning to capture a few shots.  Everything was so wet! I did some minor editing in photoshop to bring out color and contrast.  My old Canon camera had a "vivid" setting I loved for bringing out color, but, alas, this one does not.

Red berries in the Morning Light.

Dew on the leaves.

How beautiful! I love these close- up glimpses of nature, there are very few fresh, bright colors in the scenery here.

Photography of the natural world is my favourite kind and these shots are beautiful... My favourite is the dew on the leaves. You're very good.

Nice pictures, and congratulations on your new camera!

Since you seem to be into close-up shots, I'll lend you a little tip: If you have a magnifying glass laying around the house, put it right up to the lens of your camera. This will reduce the minimum focal range allowing you to take even *closer* pictures in focus!

I look forward to more photo and video blogs from you in addition to your writing.

Beautiful photos! I like the red berries the most, the contrast between the red berries and the background is really nice.
