Something very embarrassing happened today. I just don't have the heart to write about. I think I am just going to draw this blog to a close on that note. Thank you all for reading so long. I am going to go slink back into my corner now.
Embarassing things happen to all of us Andrew. You certainly don't have to write about it, but hope you continue to write in general. You would be SO terribly missed if you left.
Never ever slink. If you need to go to a corner to regroup, hold your head high, throw your shoulders back and walk with a purpose.
Shit happens to all of us. All the freakin' time. Every single person who reads your blog has wanted to crawl into a corner. It's the stupid part of life.
Everyone has embarrassments happen. It is just a part of being human.
You may of course choose to do whatever you wish, but I suggest that NOT WRITING your blog is really akin to killing a part of yourself. You use your blog to express yourself in ways that you do not in your day-to-day life. It is a creative outlet for you. I think it would be harmful to your creative spirit and your philosophical mind to stop. But, it is your choice.
Andrew, I don't think anyone writes EVERYTHING in their blog. I don't think I'd want to read all the dirty little secrets that we all hide. We ALL have several "Oh, shit" moments hiding somewhere. We just don't blog about them.
So - keep it to yourself. Drop the subject. And write about all the other things going on in your life.
I don't comment much, but I am a faithful reader. Your blog has helped me understand my sister better - she lives with mental illness. I also have a better understanding and deeper compassion for the homless people I see.
I agree with the previous comments. Pause to regroup if you must, but please don't quit this blog. For your sake, and for ours. Mostly for yours.
Don't stop writing, Andrew. Like everyone else here has said, it happens to all of us. You would be AMAZED to know all of the embarrasing, shameful things that have happened to all of us. Think it over. Hugs, friend.
OMG we have all done embarrassing stuff. This too shall pass, but I hate when it's on your mind fresh and you still think about it and get that feeling. In a few days that will be gone.
Please dont give up your blog Andrew..we all have bad things happen that we cant talk about..just pick yourself up, dust yourself down and start all over again (now where did i hear that )I love reading your blog, it is one i always turn to when i come on to the computer..i follow your life with interest..and would hate not been able to read it...and i know you would hate not writing it as well, eventually..because it is part of you and your own therapy and i know it helps me and other folk...Thinking of you.

We are all flawed.
We all have secrets.
We are all ashamed of something.

We love you just the way you are!
