It is 2:30 AM as I write this. I am slowly watching the temperatures drop as rain moves into the eastern counties of Alabama. I have high hopes we may get some interesting weather before the night is over, but as I wrote about in the title, reality bites. The ultra-conservative National Weather Service says it is just going to be a rain event. I'd even be happy with a little sleet storm. God forbid we get snow, but I can hope.
