Photo Monday

A ride out Spring Road today to see the fall color. It is just starting to show.

Where I go to my A.A. meetings. The Chattahoochee Valley Clubhouse.

The monument to men long dead in the park.

The park where my nightly walks usually end up at. I drink coffee, smoke cigarettes, and watch the cars on the highway.

That long abandoned cotton mill by the park. It goes on for a mile.

I am jealous of the changing leaves. We don't have that in Florida. We have had our first few cooler days though and are enjoyinga break from the sweltering heat.

I applaud your writing skills even more. Those pictures were just how I imagined they would be. Except I think I pictured the AA house a bit bigger. I love the fall colors. We're just about done with the colors here, a lot of the trees are already bare and waiting for winter. Hohum.

Great pictures!

I like to see your pictures. Think I will post about UE tomorrow, wanted to do this for long but am too tired now.
Good to see you upbeat. Enjoy the autumn, life to it's fullest, light color, smell - let your creativity flow.

Those are great. I can really picture where you are as you write now. Love the fall colors...the monument is really neat. I love stuff like that. I could wander for hours in a cemetery just reading head stones and history.

Love the photos. The leaves are just beginning to turn over here (GA). Today we put all the patio furniture in the basement and blew all the leaves off the patio and driveway. However, I looked up at the huge oak trees in the backyard, only to discover the leaves are still green--this is only the beginning of all the leaves. Keep those photos coming.

I want Spring Road. It reminds me of Edisto. Do you have many like that out your way? I'd love to walk that kind of road. You say the abandoned mill goes on for a mile? What a waste! It seems like you put up pictures of the mill from the back before? I didn't remember it being on a road. The A.A. building is small! What else goes on there? A clubhouse, huh?

Lots of questions here. I'm so glad for the pictures!

Love love the pictures--
It is like a backdrop to a scene in a Julia Roberts movie. Very soothing! That was fabulous! Do you know how blessed you are? Do you know that others look to your pictures, and words that you put on the computer, as something wonderful and perfect? That the life you live, the places you see, the lives you touch...are amazing. Thank you for showing us the part of you that impacts the lives of others, by intersecting with us in profound and unusual ways!

Rest well this night!
