Maggie is about a year and a half old. Yes, I am enjoying the camera, but I've heard no end from my father about how much it costed. He wants to send it back! lol Oh well, I wish I had more subjects of which to take pictures of. It is rather drab around here these days outside. Thank you, Josie.
What is Maggie looking at?:) Andrew, I hope ur dad will not send back the camera. Cant u pay him back with the Google ad money?
Have u heard of "Neverblue Ads"? I got an email, asking if I want put up theirs on my blog, but I have to deal with them on phone, and I was too lazy to change my blog's layout as well. U might give thm a go if u want to.
She is such a sweet little dog. And that flower is beautiful. You take good pictures. I wish my camera took that good of pics. About two feet away from anything and it goes blurry.
Keep taking the pictures... its like therapy. Only cheaper. Maybe tell that to your dad.
Oh lord, one more thing to do with finances that he can lord over you. Would he rather you spend the money on alcohol or a camera? I think it's a wonderful way to share a bit of inspiration with us. Can you show us some of the scenery around your town? The park, the trains, etc? It might be fun to see the places you tell us about!
I am glad to know that you'll have Maggie's company for many years to come then. Furfriends are the best kind!
I signed up for NeverBlue and am awaiting a confirmation from them. Let's hope they are better than Adbrite which has been horrible for me. I've also signed up for Yahoo! Ads, but never heard back from them. Boo hoo! Thanks for the suggestion!
Kelly,
Thank you. Coming from you that means a lot. I hope you are going to enjoy your weekend and I will be thinking of you and your novel writing efforts. Take care!
nice pix. my first thought was... how cool ...he got his camera! then i realized, damn ...how long have i been gone? seems like a while..sorry have fun takin pix.. there is always something to take pictures of... have a great weekend!
I haven't seen Dumpster Diving Dan in ages. He quit getting the ravioli and spaghetti from me when my mother quit buying it. I miss that old fellow and will have to hunt him down. I still see him in his truck occasionally so I know he is alive and kicking so to speak. Take care sweetheart and thanks for stopping by. It means a lot to me.
Great pics, Andrew! You'd said you wished you had more things to take pictures of. You can make an interesting picture out of practically anything, and then you can crop it to make it into something else entirely different. You already have a great eye! Check out this website, which shows some everyday things in New Mexico (my favorite state) that were photographed from cool perspectives:

That picture of Maggie is really well-done and would look great as a black and white! Did your camera come with photo editing software? If it did, you can have a lot of fun with that, experimenting with colors, cropping, etc. If it didn't come with the software, check downloads.com or another free software website.
BAHAHA!!!!!!!!! I just read the title of this blog, Photo Phriday~~~ OMG I just Laughed with huge noise. That was wonderful Andrew..........enjoy this weekend, B~
I also have been enjoying the video blogs and your photos! Maggie is a cutie.
Thanks for stopping by today. I must say that I thought of you when I was watching the movie, Into the Wild. Your family would be heartbroken without you and so would all of us. Peace, Lena

Maggie is so cute!! I love the look on her face in this picture,..almost to say, "hey, guys, seriously, I can't find my toys..can someone help me? DAD!!!"
So cute!!!
I read what you wrote up above to Josie about your camera and dad...and I know it won't help you by saying this, but my dad is much like your father..they'll "give you something" and then control the element of it, such as in the case the holding it over you head,..threatening you with it.. Like I said, I know it won't help you overcome the annoyance of the dads, but at least you know that you're not the only one to have to deal with a father such as yours. :) Happy FRIDAY!!!! :) Always, Crusty~
Remember, "YOU ARE GREATER THAN THE SUM OF YOUR PARTS!!"
Love the photos, especially of Maggie. You'll have to do another video of her in action. Tell you Dad the camera keeps you occupied--it's better than drinking.
Have I missed something, what's going on with Rosa. Why is she mad at you?

Yellow is my favorite color. You have captured it so perfectly. How are you feeling today? I hope you are doing well. Have you seen Dan lately?
