Beautiful pictures, Andrew. In reference to your last entry, I believe that your words are very poetic. You may not think so because everyone is their own worst critic, but just imagine how many people read your blog everyday and then keep coming back. They must be inspired by something :)
WOW!! I like that you have three pictures..naturally the mom in me took over and I'm thinking that the flower in joyce's yard most is Jackson, The leaves in your back yard are most like Sullivan as he is just needing a gathering being so darned tired..and the summers hydrangea are bens..so anxious to bloom and unaware of the dangers around the corner being a little one year old. definitely a camellia. You can tell by the stamen (yellow pollen thingies) and the leaf shape and edge. Just so you know, you shouldn't pick one by cutting off a long stem, try to cut them as close to the flower as you can because they grow so slowly.
Fall leaves in my back yard just ready to fall for me to gather up.
Last summer's hydrangea which the first frost tomorrow night will get.

i think the one from joyce's yard is a camelia. not positive but it sure looks like ones i have seen around these parts.
