I found 2 different recipes, one made with cream of mushroom soup, one made with beef broth. Is either what your dad uses?
Andrew Replies... GIttermom, I think dad uses Campbell's condensed chicken and rice soup in his recipe and he lets it simmer a long time so the pork chops get fork tender.

I think you could use any cream soup. I have a pork chop recipe made with cream of celery soup, no rice though. You eat over mashed potatoes. Delicious!
