A Blog Break...

I am thinking of taking a break from this blog until I can get to feeling better.  I don't want this to turn into some constant boring drivel about what ails me.  A life changing ailment can be all consuming.   And I feel terrible.  I have never been so scared in my life, and I feel like I am losing my mind.  I see my doctor Wednesday and hopefully he will help me.  I need help badly and my father is a poor advocate for my mental health thinking these medications are the only answer.  He will force more antihistamines upon me this afternoon and they will only make my heart race.  Thank you all for reading and hopefully, I won't be down for long.  I've worked so hard to build up a readership and a dead blog will kill it.  Maybe after Wednesday I will be feeling better.

I'm sorry you're feeling so bad lately. If there's anything that I can do, please let me know. Take time if you need, but you will be very missed. Do write when you can and you feel up to it.

You will be greatly missed. I hope the appointment with the Dr. will help you feel better. No wonder your heart races, it's those Benedryl. I avoid that stuff like the pleg, along with anything with caffine--cokes, tea, all the good stuff. Hope you feel better really soon. We await your return. :-)

Andrew, I will miss you, too. Do what's best for you, but don't be away long. Drivel and boring are what your blog ISN'T! I'm anxiously awaiting your return. Yes, do bring Maggie by to share her sweet hello!

Andrew, I hope you feel better soon. Do whatever you need to, to talk to your Dr. alone and get it all straightened out. I will miss you, but I understand. We'll all be waiting for you when you get back.
Hugs for you and Maggie

I do not care for Wednesday.

Happy TWOHUNDRED!

Even if you feel like manicmadman now, you managed that: Be proud! You show to yerself and to the world that it works, you can do. That is important.

I follow your writing for some time now, in good and bad times (yours and mine). Hope you will find some relief. Your father loves you, that's why he often grabs deep in the medicine-cabinet. Maybe there is time for a slow change, as to less chemical, more reflection. But who am I to say something in this respect?
Anyway: I wish you all the best for the coming twohundred and more!

andrew-- you have the most popular blog that i know of-- popular is prolly a bad choice of word-- maybe i should say that YOU are THE most popular guy i know around. you don't have a thing to worry about if you take a break. we all know, love and understand you.. and no one going anywhere if you need time to take care of yourself. that's the most important thing right now.

many of us out here have taken time away to take a breather or catch up with ourselves..and no one left anyone for it. portia, jamie, summer, me, and several others that you know have taken little breaks here and there.

don't feel guilty for it-- and don't worry about having a "dead blog"
just check in with someone here and there to let us know you are alright-- and we will all be right here when you are ready to write again.
just do what you need to-- and feel better --k?
g'nite my brothah-

Hi Andrew,

First of all, happy 200. I see it's almost 201...I'm up really late.

I'm so sorry to hear how bad things have been for you. I hope you don't take a break. So many of us look forward to seeing something new from you every day. I do. You're part of my every day life, and I never find what you have to say boring. Never. And, it's good to write, isn't it? I don't even check my sitemeter anymore...my friends stay in touch, and so do yours and that's what matters.

I plan to write you an e-mail tomorrow. Check for it, OK?

G'night my friend.

I have created several different blogs, that I post to.

For me, my blogs are a therapeutic outlet and a release from stress, depression, and anxiety. They help ME in many ways, such as being able to express myself... whereas I have a hard time verbally expressing myself.

Your posts aren't drivel to me...they are very enlightening and helpful....you are sharing and giving people an insight into the way you feel so that we can understand, learn from you, and have empathy.

In my own way I understand. Feel better soon.

Dear Andrew,
Please do whatever you need to do to look after yourself and your health. I hope you will soon be feeling better. And be assured that no matter how long a blogging break you take I promise to keep checking in until you return. You don't need to worry about losing this reader!

Bless you, Andrew. I hope you feel better soon and do what ever you need to do to cope with your issues. You won't lose any of us, not a one. We care about you and your struggles and triumphs.

We will be here waiting.

Take care.

Happy 200! I am glad to read that you are going to see a doctor. Please tell him about everything your dad has you on - don't leave out anything. I know your dad is a pharmacist, but that doesn't mean he understands what polypharmacy (multiple drugs) really can do to someone.

I am subscribed to you on my reader, so no matter how long it takes for you to come back, I'll be reading!
