Drawing New Year's to a Close....

Abbagirl wanted a picture of my supper. Here it is in all it's glory. Pork loin, macaroni and cheese, turnip greens, and black eyed peas. Not pictured is the pan of Mexican cornbread I made and that was delicious.

I always forget to tell you, but I just LOVE your southern accent. I've always been a sucker for an accent. Whether it's a United States varient, or other country. My favorite is a Scottish accent.

So glad you're feeling better today!!!

Take Care

So you see my daughter is reading your blog now. It's one of the things we're doing together. We had a great weekend, and I'm glad to hear you're feeling better. We loved seeing your video post. I think it is a good idea to do it every day. Happy New Year to you.

Thanks for posting the dinner plate. You really can cook. I am impressed. Looks great.

I love when you do any kind of audio on your blog because there is something so soothing about your voice. It makes me feel so at ease.

The sunset is beautiful. Perhaps one day I will show you one from Kansas. Good night.

I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better. The video posts are great, keep them up! All of us ladies really enjoy the accent apparently. It was really great that you were able to spend some time with your father's friend and not be alone for New Year's. Remember, all of your readers are pulling for you, and we love to hear that you're feeling better after a difficult spell. :)

Happy new year to you my friend.

I have to agree that your accent is simply delicious and so soothing.

Thank you for sharing your life, you will certainly continue to have good days and some not so good ones, but you are doing the best you can with what you've got and that's what matters. You are such a kind hearted person with such a great spirit. You are just too sweet!!!

May this new year bring you great health and prosperity,
Sue

... before starting reading this post's comments, I was getting ready to say something about your great... southern accent.... oh well!

I love your pictures and seeing the video about your daily life and surroudings is very nice for someone who lives in another country but who does love the american culture(s) and country.

I'm glad to see you're feeling better, hope your folks will be back soon, if not already there.

Have a great day... or night!
