How humorous! She is such a sweet doggie. I think she believes you are playing with her. How cute.

Too cute! My dogs prefer the inside to being out most of the time... unless they get outside the yard, then they run rampant! Thanks for sharing more videos.

Another reason why I like animals more than people. They make us laugh. Listen to "your" laugh. It was pure music!

What a cutie....I was watching this video this morning with my puppy at my side. He was so cute because he heard Maggie barking and was looking at her and was like she's crazy....however, he acts the same way sometimes.

Have a great day!

MAGGGGIE! I love that dog, she is too cute. My dog, Elvis, does the same thins when you try to get him to come inside and he's like, I'll come in when I want to come in. lol

Very adorable, Emily(Cheryl's daughter)

OMG! She's adorable...although if you're trying to get her in the house that must be infuriating. Libby used to do that to me too. Sometimes still does. I broke her of it by keeping calling her from the door with a real nummy treat in my hand (started with cheese or a piece of chicken and have moved to basic doggie treats.) The first time, when she came I gave her the treat. then I sent her right back outside. Then she needed to come the first time I called or I ATE THE TREAT. I repeated that a few times. And then repeated it a few days in a row. I don't think it was very long before she was coming right away.

She still will pull the "come out an play with me" act, but mostly she comes. She never quite knows if it will be a basic treat or a piece of cheese or chicken.

i have to agree with everyone else - she is a wonderful little dog. you should have a regular video post of 'maggie shorts'.

I used to have a dog, Buster, that used to do that. He was a JR Terrier. He definitely just wanted to play. If I really needed him in the house, then I would call him and then just close the door. he would be sitting there sulking because no one was going to play "chase the doggie" with him. I love your Maggie posts!!

My dog, Midge, acts up as well ... only she hates to go outside!

I tried everything from treats, bribes, praise, threats, you name it! Now I just have to ignore her and wait patiently going about my morning until I can catch her to put her out to use the grass. :)

She's a smart little chihuahua and sneaky neighbor dog mix that I adopted last year. We think that sneaky neighbor dog might have been a JR Terrier.

Got to love 'em!

Thanks for your Maggie posts.

Best,
Gail
