Moonlight... Moon Bright!

Dedicated to my dearest of friends, Mosaic Mind, who wrote to me tonight that despite the great distance between us, we could always share a moon.

Look at that! With a sky that clear, it'll get cold for sure! Maybe some frost pictures will greet me in the morning! :)

Kelly Jene,

There are big storm just to the north of us yet the sky is so clear hear tonight. The quiet before the storm? I do hope so. I am ready for stormy weather! Clash of lightning, booms of thunder. Bring it on!!! Thanks so much for your friendship, emails, and comments.

If you were in Huntsvillle, AL, you would have the clash of lightning and booms of thunder. Lots of rain, too. The first line is past and another is on its way. We really need the rain so its welcome.

How do you get those beautiful moon pictures? You must have some powerful lens. I've tried to capture the moon's beauty but I only have my digital camera and they end up being the opposite of your moon pictures. HAHAHA Mine turn out unclear and rather unlike the actual moon I am looking at.

May I ask what type of camera and lens you use? Armando has a Pentax K100 D and I use a Pentax Optio digital camera.

I just caught up on your days' writing and picture posting. I'm so happy you have a camera. I know I've said it before, but it adds another dimension to this blog and I think taking the pictures makes you happy too.

Sounds like a very productive day at the doctor's. I hope your father stays true to what the doctor is prescribing.

Big storms are heading our way. Bring them on!

Hey, I just stopped by to ask you about your art classes. Are they still in the works? I can't take any unfortunately, because the beginning levels don't fit into my schedual :(

Found you through Cheryl, who I found through Summer, and read your profile first because I am nosy like that.

Wasn't sure if you heard about Oprah's latest book selection. It is none other than one of your favorites, The Pillars of the Earth!

Alabamagal,

Andrew uses a Canon Powershot A650 IS. He told me when I asked the same question a couple of months ago, and I'm savinu up to get the same camera (or waiting until Christmas).

WOW great pictures! I found some comfort and peace looking at the pictures. I hope that your Thursday went well...it sounded like from the posts that it was going to be a busy day for you...and probably emotional somewhat with Rosa and her granddaughter visiting. Oh the dinner sounds great...did you enjoy

She's right..we all live states/countries away from one another, and yet the moon is always the same cast under our eyes each night..Very cool!
Always,
