My words of wisdom before the medication ritual and work? iTunes sucks! It’s bloated crap software. I just installed it after forgetting why I hate it so much. There’s gotta be a third party application for getting songs onto your iPod. I need to search. iTunes slows my computer down terribly and even makes booting my computer slow. That’s unacceptable!

It works great on my Mac. I don't know how it would do with a PC. How much memory do you have? Have you cleared your cache lately? Might be time to check the system and get rid of temporary files and defrag the hard drive.
