Happy Holidays! I'm glad you love your dad . I bet you want to give him a memorable gift he will treasure always. How about the truth, the WHOLE truth! The truth about your $400 shopping spree, the truth about allowing ol' George to guzzle booze in your place and the truth about how you have handled these tempting situations so well. Duplicity is a by-product of sneaky alcoholism and you have moved beyond all that. Go ahead , toot your own horn and make him realise you have finally grown into a responsible adult. That guy in the mirror isn't a drooly toddler. He's a thoughtful middle-aged man!

A smile, I like that!

Anonymous, I don't quite know what to say. I am not quite sure what you're getting at as your post is kind of cryptic. There is no duplicity here. Just my life and what I like to write about. If I wanted to write fiction I could make this blog much, much more interesting. I have a flair for it. Thank you for commenting though. You made me think hard of how to respond.

Lacey, thank you! I think I look like a dork in the picture, but I put it up anyway! LOL

Seeing your pictures and your smile brought tears to my eyes. I miss you and I promise I'll catch up. You're still #1 with me. I'll have to write you a long e-mail so we can 'talk'. Happy Day Andrew!

I don't think you look like a dork, i think you look very natural. You have the longest eyelashes. I never noticed.
My daughter never used to smile in pictures, but all the ones on FB lately she is smiling. I like to see that. It makes me think she is happy.

If you ever want to see what joy looks like, cast your eyes on that first picture. I hope that you feel more joy and less pain. You deserve it. (This is Peg again. Google doesn't like me much these days and I can't sign in for whatever reasons.)

I wish you lived up here tonight! We're expecting 20 inches of snow. I'll have to take some pictures for you.
