Like a Flash...

Charlie's come and gone.  Maggie fawns over him.  Dad and Charlie are undertaking the task of keeping my house cleaner.  I am to give Maggie fresh water everyday supervised by dad. I didn't think it was dirty as it was.  It is all rather humiliating to be honest. Charlie was washing my shower curtain and underwear.

I have found when my surroundings are clean I feel better and that when I am depressed nothing depresses or oppresses/overwhelms me more than the litte tasks of cleaning. Ithink they care are are trying to help you with the little tasks

Accept the help while you need it. You will again be in a position of independence.

It is easy to lose perspective when you are not feeling well. It is good they are there to help with the day to day things before things get too overwhelming for you.

When the dark cloud passes, you will be able to resume your duties.

when you are feeling better again (and you WILL) you'll be able to cope with your cleaning & everything else..sadly depression does that to us..we loose interest in everything. This is normal with this type of illness..you are not on your own in been that way...just try to remember to give Maggie clean water twice a day, write yourself a note to remind you to do it..i often have to do that !! You will get better Andrew..you are just going through a bad patch..hang in there.
