Enjoy your books Andrew. I love to read. Getting lost in world other than my own. Seeing characters developing and the intriguing thought patterns.

I didn't bother with the sequel, but GONE WITH THE WIND was one of the best books I ever read. You should see the movie too.

Ooooh ooooh oooh! I *love* books! I just got done re-reading Gone With the Wind. Have you ever read it before? Did she bring other books? Hooray for your mom!

Hello Sir!

I am glad you are looking forward to reading again. GWTW and the sequel are not to my particular taste (too much like romance novels to me), but they are indeed loved by many. I think you will enjoy the Southern theme.

For my own reading pleasure in fiction, I tend more towards crime/police novels (Michael Connelly), science fiction (Brave New World, Walden Two), or classics (Moby Dick).

Leann, I didn't know you were a reader. You learn something new about your friends everyday. I bet reading can make slow moments in E.R. pass by fast.

Forsynthia, It's funny you write that. I am already scheming about getting the movie. I've never seen it. Isn't that just a travesty? Mom loved the sequel she told me yesterday. "I couldn't put it down!" I am already on page 68 of Gone with the Wind. I stayed up late last night reading.

Irishcode, I've never read it before. I think the last book a read a few years ago was The Kite Runner. Mom brought two whole plastic grocery bags of books which I am excited about reading.

Pipe, you and I have similar tastes in books if it were not for the Romances. I am a romantic at heart for a guy. I read Brave New World a few years ago and was captivated. I have often used the word Soma on my blog many times. I wish you could send me a copy of Walden Two. I loved Walden and didn't know the second book existed.

Joy, LOL! I am so glad you are excited about reading it again as well. I look forward to hearing what you have to say about it!
