Rambling Man...

Spent most of the morning washing and detailing Rosa's and my cars.  Rosa's car looks like brand new and is running in tip-top shape.  Rosa has learned that the price of gas has been a rude awakening, though.

Earlier in the day, I ran into Ferret.  He was wanting me to take him to the truck stop for a shower.  I said I couldn't as I didn't know what time my mother would be coming this afternoon with my groceries.  Ferret badly needs a shower.  You can smell him from several feet away.  It is starting to hinder his ability to buy beer in convenience stores.

Sounds like a fun morning. I love to wash the cars, as long as it's nice out. It's been in the 60s today, and it's usually a little warmer where you are, so I hope you are enjoying a beautiful day also:)

I like your banner dude. Looks like the cover of "A boy and his dog".

I'm glad the beginning of your day has been smooth.

That's too bad about Ferret. Have you offered to take him to another meeting? I hope he gets some help soon.

Maybe you should stop Ferret from showering if it hinders his ability to buy beer. Better smelly than drunk, in his case.

Heh.

I, too, hope Ferret gets it together. Sorry about his shower.

Ferret better spend some beer money on a Motel 6 for one night.

Do you think that the next time you bring Ferret a sandwich, you can bring him some dollar-store baby wipes and some Febreeze? Those two things will at least help him keep his clothes and body smelling non-offensive. On one hand, his funkiness preventing him from buying beer is a good thing. But I don't want him to become the target of some punk out there (or get harassed by cops) just because he's visibly and obviously homeless. It will help his self-esteem A LOT to have simple tools to keep himself clean.

It's nice to see you writing again, though I do love the pictures, also. Sounds like Rosa had an awesome Valentines Day thanks to your creativity in gifts! I wish it was warm enough to wash my car...I'd do it in a heartbeat!

What a great gift for Valentine's for Rosa--an oil change! That was really creative, and now a clean car as well. You are really kind, Andrew. Too bad about Ferret. I hope he can get a shower soon, however, the skinkness slowing down his beer purchasing is not a bad thing. :-)

My car needs a good detailing, but I want to wait for a good weather day. Did you go to Best Buy? I'm wondering what you're going to buy.

I saw your comment about the TV. Same TV, same car (different years).

I was surprised to see just 2 posts from you when I got home. Sometimes there's 9! You'll get your muse back, I'm sure of that.
