Ya Gotta Love My Mother…

My psychiatrist today told me to try and drink unsweetened tea instead of sodas.  Well, I took it to heart and told mom to get me two gallons of tea.  She bought six!!!!  I have no room for all of them in my fridge once I got them inside!  Like mother like son.  We are so obsessive compulsive.  Does she even remember tea has caffeine as well?  Tea party at Andrew’s! LOL

That was a great post you wrote about the discrimination of folks with mental illness vs physical illness. I completely agree with you!

when you need something from your mom, just tell her you need half, and when she doubles, you will get what you need! :)

I gotta say, unsweetened tea....bleh....is NO fun!!!

You can get decaf tea bags and make tea. In learned to drink it unsweetened when I was pregnant and diabetic. I actually prefer it with lemon. You will see how fast all that tea will go, or you can sweeten it with Equal (which tastes gross).

Good idea to tell her half of what you truly want, then she'll get the whole amount... :-)

Hi, andy pandy! I'm the anon who wrote you that sympathetic comment about your unjust social isolation in which I complimented you on your intelligence! I'm aghast at your rude over-the-top reaction to my positive comment! It must've contained more truth than you can handle ! So sorry, I thought I was writing to a reasonable MAN instead of some spoiled poltroon. You see , I was diagnosed with schizophrnia too, long ago, and I've never used my illness as a crutch, as an excuse for social irresponsibility or thoughtless unkindness!! NO,you are not my peer and it has nothing to do with mental illness! It has to do with CHARACTER! I'm ashamed I ever wrote to you as if you were my equal. Well, best wishes in your CHOSEN role as the world's oldest toddler! ps- I am NOT the 2nd anon who criticised your dad's behavior.

Do you see the trouble with many 'anons' now Andrew ??..they use their anonymity as a game..they can be a 'he' or a 'she' as the mood takes them..or even as BOTH,.. replying in the same list of comments..its fun to them to see your reactions..its all part of the GAME of the 'double life' some of them live..its part of their illness !!!...its fun to them..MY SINCERE appologies to the GENUINE Anons..but to SOME this is just a way of getting through a day.....of passing time throwing a few insults & even counter balancing them with a few normal friendly comments ...you are better than these people Andrew..dont let any Anonymous comments get to you..the ones who do NOT sign their names are the real Sad ones..the ones who are really ill..hiding behind their anonymity to spew bile & bitterness.

I sometimes drink caffeine free with splenda. But caffeine never hinders my sleep.

I just love the cowardly anons. If you'd like to speak of *Character* Mr/Ms. Anon, how about showing some of your own, and step out from behind your computer monitor.
Anywho, I've switched over to drinking a lot of seltzer with Lemon, found I didn't miss the sugar so much, and it's very refreshing.
