The snow is really coming down now. I thought it would never start. I put a video up on the weather blog of it. Most people don't realize how exceedingly rare this is for us. It may not snow again for another five years.
I am worried about Ferret. He is sitting down in that tent by the river most likely getting drunk and oblivious to the weather. It is supposed to get down to 17 degrees tonight. His sleeping bag is rated at 20 degrees. He was mumbling something about staying with his mother if the weather got bad. I hope he does.

Oh cool! You guys are having snow at last, wonder how much will fall? It feels too warm here in NJ to do anything but rain, what weird weather we've been having.
Yeah I'm so happy for you. I could feel your disappointment from your earlier post about not getting any snow. Enjoy it while it lasts!
YEAH! It's been snowing since about 11:00 a.m. this morning over here in GA. Everything is white. The temperature is right at 32 degrees, but tonight the weather people are talking about bitter cold temps for us, so we will have ice on the road. :-(
We are getting snow too in Ohio...but temps in the single digits tonight....brrrrr...

Anyway, I am worried about the homeless in this area as well. The wind chill will be 10 to 20 below zero tonight.

Awesome! I wish I could be as excited about snow when it falls but we get it so frequently, I hardly care much about it! That is a refreshing perspective!
