I really missed Helen’s meal last Friday when mom and dad were in Washington D.C. Today, Helen cooked just what I asked dad for her to cook. Fried chicken, creamed potatoes, butterbeans, and biscuits. Not pictured is a bowl of fresh carrot salad which Maggie can’t have because it has raisins in it.

We want to steal her away! BTW...are raisins bad for dogs? I know the mayo in the salad my upset her tummy a little, it does mine. LOL!
I've hear raisins are bad for dogs. Not sure why. I think they upset a dog's stomach -- can't digest them. I don't need a Maggie dour with a tummy ache.
Raisins are grapes and those are toxic to dogs. Also apple seeds which contain arsenic. So far mine have survived, but probably not good for them to have too many. I think tomatoes are supposed to be bad for them too, although Panda ripped out all my tomato plants and ate them one year and he is still around.
Helen's cooking looks so good. I can almost taste the food in this picture.
