Joy, My birthday is on the 12th. I will be 38 years old. I am getting so old and it scares me! I am looking forward to my birthday, though. I can't wait for my birthday dinner and my iTunes giftcard. I need some new audiobooks badly having listened to all I have on hand
Hey again! I love the pics of your flowers! I remember when your birthday is...it's two months to the day after mine! :) Last fall, we planted lots of flower bulbs in our yard, so we have loads of daffodils and a few tulips blooming right now!
Why is it that you, in Alabama, have all this beautiful color going on. Here I sit in Florida with my Crepe Myrtly just starting to get little tiny green leaves. The Jasmine is just beginning to develope some flower buds. The Fig actually has a few leaves. My Canna's are almost a foot tall, but no flowers yet. And my poor Gardenias both look like it will be at least a couple of months before they try to bloom!
The only thing I've got in bloom is the Aloe! It's beautiful - and usually attracts lots of hummingbirds - but the tiny little birds haven't gotten here yet this year. Hope those blooms will last long enough for the little hovercraft to arrive!
And - the citrus groves all around us are in full bloom! One little sniff of the air and you get that fresh scent! I wish we could have that all year.
And of course, the pine trees are dropping enough pollen to turn every vehicle a sickly yellow!

I'm sure glad I don't have hay fever.
Don't you have bugs on your plants?
Love ya,
Grannie
I love azaleas and camellias. Will you post pictures when they are all open?
Lacey,
I will post them just for you in a few more days.
You said you would sing on your birthday, and I can't wait to hear you!!
