Happy Easter! I still believe in the Easter Bunny! Not really - but it's nice to fake it!
For your open house problem . . if you want to be able to sit on the porch and not be bothered - measure how wide and how tall the wall of the porch is across the front facing the street. Then take mom to WalMart (or Home Depot) and get the 'faux' bamboo roll up shade to hang there. All you need is a screw driver to hang it (if the screen frame is wood). You can see out through it pretty well and air passes through nicely. But - it makes it look much less inviting for passers by to think you are the local information center! I installed these all around my screened porch and put a hot tub in - I can roll them up when I want to or drop them down for privacy when I choose. They last forever!
Glad to hear that you're feeling better. Might be the extra meds and that you over did it on drinks last night! You'd think Charlie would know better by now!
Take good care - let me know if I can help you with anything!
