East meets West...

I just love this music and the eastern influence upon the west.

The Shanghai Restoration Project - Miss Shanghai

The Shanghai Restoration project and Di Johnston - Jade Buddha Temple

Go check out Mike Mineo's Obscure Sound where I found these tunes. It is a great indie music blog. Yes, I uploaded these to my own server so as not to piss Mike off again. lol You can hover over the links to check.

Hey Hi Hello!
I'm so glad I emailed you, but should have way sooner. (by the way, I had some nasty comments on my blog as well that I had to delete. I was almost in tears when I read them) I kind of felt like I would have been intruding (like maybe you'd gone to invite only to show some things to certain people) I sure have missed your blogs, but getting to read so many tonight at once was such a treat!
And yes, my toddler keeps me constantly busy, especially now that she climbs all over everything, like trying to climb up onto the big window sill from the back of the couch! SCARY STUFF!
But more importantly, she doesn't let me sit at my desk. She will come and push my legs apart and throw herself on me, and then attack the keyboard and keyboard drawer. 18 months old and already telling Mommy what to do. haha. So it's hard to do anything at my desk. Anything that involves typing must be done when she's asleep. I manage to read snippets of things here and there since that only involves the mouse, but she can reach that now too.
Anywho, thanks for letting me continue to read. I sure missed it! I hope Carolyn is doing better. I was recently sick like that and it's horrible. You are so nice to take care of her. And as for you, I hope you're feeling better as well.
Got to go to bed now. I just smoked my last cig. and of course can't go buy more until morning since my little Angel is sleeping. Take Care!
Liz

I don't know if I was invited, or if you opened the floodgates again, but I am really happy to be able to see you online again. It's been almost 2 weeks and I had no idea what was happening. Sorry to hear that there are some small minded people out there that just want to cause you strife. There is no need to be that way at all, and the thought of these simple minded people makes me wish I wera a dog instead. Good luck with everything and I will spend the next while just trying to catch up.

Thanks so much for opening your doors again. I'm a lurker, which is very frustrating to writers, but I really love your writing. Thanks for opening up your life and sharing!
