Dog Stares in the AM...

I woke up this morning and found Maggie watching me.  She was sitting near my head on the bed and staring.   It usually means she needs food and she did.

Dad came by this morning.

"Don't forget your injection this morning!" He said with a chipper air.

I KNEW IT!  I knew there had to be a reason for me feeling so badly the past two days.  My Risperidone had run out.  That injection is like the miracle shot.  It is amazing the difference between me on it and off.

Me and Mom are going down to the bookstore in a local town.  It is a lengthy drive, but time with Mom is always fun.  I hope to get a Railroad Model Craftsman magazine, and hopefully will get a subscription as well.

I am glad that you were able to discern that there was a missing piece to your tx. I hope and pray that you will be able to get your shot, and start feeling well. Crying in no way shows weakness, or anyother negative thing you and society tells yourself. Your strength and courage is what shows, when a person cries. Get that shot, and be well!

It makes us feel so much better when we realize there is a reason that we are feeling more out of control. I'm glad you've reached a place where you've made peace with the benefits of your medications, and how they assist you in maintaining a sense of wellbeing. You've done so well lately... you're becoming a "poster child" for how lives can be recovered! I wish you a happy day with your Mom, sounds like fun! I always have time for a bookstore!

Take care.

Andrew it is really interesting because when I was thinking of you last evening and what you were experiencing I thought it is time for his shot. I hope that you and your mom have a really good time together. I will look foward to reading about what you bought. I hope that you have a good day my friend.OH and gracie looks at me sometimes too when I sleep...last night she woke me up to scratch her and then I did and she went back to sleep.

I woke up to see a cat tail in my face! My husbands cat sleeps on my hip, funny little thing.

I'm glad you discovered the reason you've been feeling down. Hopefully you'll be feeling better soon!

I was wondering about the meds. I'm so glad the Risperidone works for you.

Did you get the subscription? Nothing better than having a magazine you love show up in your mailbox.
