A Very Awesome Late Lunch...
Dad cooked some delicious country vegetables and fried pork chops for lunch. Just look at all that wonderful boiled okra in with the peas. That's how my Memaw always did it as well. Dad's a good cook, but he can't beat Helen's creamed potatoes, nor can he topple Helen's cornbread from its soul-food throne.

And her macaroni and cheese and meatloaf....I bet you miss them....poor Helen. I hope she's doing ok without her job...
