Summer, it is more of an intimacy issue more than anything and you are expected to make (baneful for me) small talk with the barber. That's why I feel so comfortable with Charlie doing it. Charlie has been cutting Horsefly's hair for 40 years as well so he gives a pretty darn good haircut.
Right now, my avoidance of a haircut has more to do with not wanting to sit so long for Charlie to cut it and my dandruff is acting up again which embarrasses me.
