"The chili cheese pups are delicious," Charlie said as we pulled into Krystal's.
"Just tell them I want a sackful of Krystals and a large Coke," I reassuringly told good Charlie as he fretted that this order was growing complicated.
We were supposed to go grocery shopping tonight, but I called it off -- not knowing if I could stomach that stimulus fraught ordeal this evening.
Charlie insisted on paying for it, but I handed him my debit card and paid for the food myself. I am a lot of things, but I am not a mooch.
