Dad and I were feeding and watering Maggie last night when I told him how appreciative I was that he bought this home for Maggie and I.
"Don't think I don't realize what you do!" I told my father even though he can be a hardass at times.
"I also know coming over here every night to give me my medications is not fun either," I then told him as we sat on the couch. "It must get old!"
He just smiled and patted me on my knee. I have never, ever heard my father complain about this matter.
