So? You think you are feeding your dog premium dog food?


I was just looking at the ingredients in Maggie's dog food. One of the main ingredients is "poultry by-product meal ". I searched on the web for this ingredient and did an about take. There were a lot of cons and pros, but I thought a premium dog food like Purina One wouldn't have such a cheap ingredient which is basically just ground up carcasses of chicken and by product chicken parts.

Sadly, it's true. It's gross.

Bill, my late mastiff, scratched so hard, he shook the house (he weighed 205)...my vet insisted I give him quality food (expensive but he ate less) and stopped giving him people food.

Within a week, his 'cooties' disappeared.
