I still haven't heard anything out of George and I miss him. He had a run in with the back of his carport with the car, the police visited and now he has disappeared with several things still amiss and going awry. Yes, I do believe he is a good guy. He has been gone for weeks now. His car sits in the carport unused and his ex-wife or girlfriend comes and checks his mail every few days. Personally? I have really missed him as our vagabond routines were so alike minus the beer. He was a busy little fellow often going in and out the house all day. My best hopes are that he is in a treatment center somewhere. My worst fears tell me he is in jail and doesn't know anybody with enough money to bail him out. .

I doubt he is in jail. If he could afford to buy that house and pay bills, he is likely in treatment. Or living with someone else.
Taking care of his water is a good neighborly gift. I'd also leave a note for the girlfriend in the mailbox letting them know about it.
