Surge Protectors and a Somewhat Organized Den...

You have my deepest sympathy about having to go shopping with your mom. I tend to shop like a man. I have a list. I go in and get what I need, and get out.

Inevitably, I have a friend who wants to get together for lunch periodically. That is not a problem. The problem is that somehow, we always drive by a store that she needs to get a couple items in. For the life of me, I cannot imagine what is going on in someone's mind when they take a necklace or something in their hand, and turn it and look at it for several minutes, and then put it back and walk on.

When I go shopping, I almost always know exactly which type of which product and the size of the container before I enter the store.

I also cannot stand to get behind someone who has no where to go and all day to get there. Often, there is a group of people who feel the need to walk beside each other, blocking others from going past them, and going as slow as they can possibly go, while still moving.

Yep, I sure like to shop by myself.
