Part Particular...

"You left the dog food bag open again," my father said admonishing me as we performed Maggie's feeding ritual.

This is a big pet peeve of my father's.

"She's not going to eat it if is gets stale. Dogs are funny about things like that. That's expensive dog food."

I mumbled something about getting her some more food this afternoon and forgetting to close the bag.

We had just previously performed my own ritual -- the medication ritual. The most enjoyable hour of my life is when I am waiting on those medications to take effect. I get giddy as I sit here listening to music in anticipation. I also take great satisfaction out of writing a blog post during this period. My latest beau music wise is the band Zero 7. I can listen to their numerous CDs over and over.

As dad was leaving, he ironically and nicely told me to lay off iTunes -- that I was buying too much music. I can't buy single songs. I always have to download the whole album. I will admit I have been overzealous. I downloaded Sia's discography today.

I don't know if this would help you with the dog food, but a storage container may help. I bought one for cat food which also has wheels so it's easy to maneuver. It also keeps the food fresh since it has an air tight lid. If you search 'dog food storage container' on Amazon.com you'll see what I'm talking about. Just a suggestion! Have a great day!
